The alternative fuels analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and optimizing the integration of alternative fuels into our cement operations. Through data-driven analysis, collaboration, and reporting, the role contributes to achieving our sustainability goals and ensures responsible use of alternative fuels while supporting cross-functional teams and external partnerships. Strong business intelligence skills are required to perform the analysis.
*main responsibilities*:
*conduct data-driven analysis to optimize the integration of alternative fuels in cement operations.*
- analyze and interpretate alternative fuels (af) and specific heat consumption (shc)
- related data to provide actionable insights, informed recommendations, and data-driven strategies that contribute to informed decision-making and improved business performance.
- generate insightful reports that outline the impact of alternative fuel usage, cost avoidance and environmental impact.
- identify challenges and opportunities for improvement based on real data.
*collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to strategic planning, and communicate findings for sustainable outcomes.*
- effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to internal stakeholders.
- follow up with the operations: tracking plans, solutions and actions plans regarding af/shc-related kpis.
- contribute to enhancing awareness and understanding of alternative fuel strategies throughout the organization.
*contribute to the continuous improvement of the alternative fuels area by promoting the sharing of best practices within the green fuels global network and monitoring industry trends.*
- stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging practices related to alternative fuels.
- identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation within the alternative fuel integration process.
- monitor market conditions and pricing of alternative fuels, when possible, to support decision making.

- languages needed & proficiency: english
- academic background: bachelor degree in engineering.
- areas of expertise: knowledge of the cement production process (suitable), data management and analysis.
- soft skills: presentation skills, self-motivated, collaborative team player, attention to detail, adaptability and willingness to learn, committed to safety and environmental stewardship.
