the business development manager in mexico carries out critical efforts for the company’s growth. As mexico experiences significant growth as a result of nearshoring, the cpkc manager systematically identifies, screens and pursues new business opportunities.
accountabilities
* the bd manager works to leverage transload potential as well as fostering relationships with maritime ports, short lines, industrial parks and state governments.
* the bd manager aggressively prospects for new business, develops relationships, screens opportunities and identifies key contacts necessary to implement growth plans.
* the bd manager plays an important role in strategic development projects in mexico. The bd manager is responsible for the external facing activities affiliated with industrial development such as site selection, relationships with real estate brokers, industrial parks and governmental economic development authorities.
* the bd manager is responsible for the pemex account. The bd executive manages this bureaucratic relationship, and takes action to minimize risks, advocate for payments, and lay the groundwork for eventual growth with pemex.
