mission
1. manage important and relevant engineering projects at country level from technical specifications to installation and ramp-up (end to end process).
2. track the capex budget for assigned projects within the plant/region.
3. support assigned plants and work operationally with local manufacturing & engineering organizations to take care, in a professional way, of company assets through their entire life cycle.
4. develop technical solutions to maximize production or reduce operational cost within the plants assigned through continuous improvement and bottom-up approach.
main accountabilities and tasks
support the regional project engineer to collect from assigned factories and distilleries bottom-up requests to build the capex budget and strategic plan (3 years). Proposals should cover needs to reach annual and strategic plan targets, to match production growth, to assure business continuity.
5. help assigned factories and distilleries to generate and transform ideas to execution projects that add or improve key deliverables on: yield (honey/juice extraction, fermentation, and distillation process) new equipment (oee, set-up time) energy & water efficiency additional capacity
6. track the capital expenditure and related projects along the year (for assigned sites/projects) to avoid delays and late result delivery.
7. drive the preparation of technical specification for new equipment or important modifications.
8. support the supplier selection criteria with a technical perspective preparing technical comparison of their quotations.
9. directly manage important projects with high capex involved. Supporting plant capacity growth. Main equipment substitution or extraordinary refurbishment. Transfer or in-sourcing of production lines.
10. support plant engineering & maintenance teams to: technically specify new equipment or modifications to existing ones; install, commission, test and ramp-up new or modified equipment; de-commission or transfer equipment; maintain manufacturing lines, cellars, utilities and buildings to assure production continuity;
11. implement appropriate approaches, tools and methods to maintain assets, such as: autonomous break-down prevention time based. Condition based. Preventive predictive
12. help, through training-on-the-job, the implementation of standard engineering kpi, processes, tools, methods, and procedures: problem solving methodologies pdca, a3,sipoc …) cqv (commissioning, qualification, validation) identify best practices and share them with regional engineering team.
