the opportunity
this role is responsible for the overall administration of the advertising & marketing budget and governance at pepsico foods canada, leading the tracking/spend across the marketing budgets, while executing and monitoring the kpi’s in the p2p process.
success in this role requires the ability to work in a matrixed reporting environment and to partner across functions. Relationship building with multiple stakeholders and teams will be essential. Results-driven behaviour, solid organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, technical strength, and the ability work both independently as well as valued partner on the marketing and finance teams will also be requried.
your impact
as a budget supervisor for advertising & marketing(a&m)your responsibilities would consist of:
functional responsibilities:
1. deliver an excellent a&m budget management service to pepsico foods canada according to established sla’s
2. act as the main point of contact with the sector: manage the work flow from sector to a&m budget analysts, ensure delivery of service and oversee all quality control
3. give support to sector by providing accurate and timely information to support the decision making process and ensure the overall administration of the a&m budget
4. lead a&m trainings, process improvements, change management and governance activities with the sector
5. ensure a&m reports are provided regularly to key stakeholders, with accuracy. Provide insights and action all followups as needed to drive a&m budment management.
6. ownership of the yearend a&m process for the sector. This includes delivering timely refresher training with budget owners, conducting regular communications, ensuring proper documentation of accruals, prepaid assets, coupons, overall weekly budget tracking on progress, etc.
people responsibilities:
7. effectively manage and develop 2 direct reports in delivering an excellent service to finance and marketing stakeholders through timely communication and resolutions.
8. monitor the a&m budget coordination processes and ensure overall adherence to sla’s.
qualifications

9. university degree in either accounting, finance, economics, engineering, or business (preferred)
10. advanced computer skills: excel, power point, sap
11. english fluency required
12. skilled at collaborating across cross-functional teams
13. strong communication skills (written and verbal) and influencing skills
14. teamwork and leadership/coaching capabilities
15. strong technical, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills
