meaningful work from day one:
the senior trade marketing specialist proposes, negotiates, and coordinates activations and activities aligned with the marketing and sales team. This role involves coordinating resources to ensure correct field execution, to increase takeaway and prominence of our brands, ultimately driving sales growth and market share.
what you can expect:
1. ensure the correct execution of trade marketing plans, including loyalty programs, visibility plans, and sales force contests, by effectively coordinating resources and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
2. manage and control budgets, ensuring proper execution at the point of sale and alignment with the annual company strategy, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports on budget utilization and return on investment.
3. participate in the construction and planning of the trade marketing calendar, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to identify key initiatives, timelines, and resource allocation to support overall business objectives.
4. provide training to sales force and in-plant personnel on shopper marketing activities, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to execute promotional campaigns and drive sales effectively.
what you bring to the table:
1. 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, sales, or sales operations, demonstrating a strong understanding of trade channels, customer dynamics, and sales processes.
2. experience in negotiating and building relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
3. proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated, able to work independently and take initiative.
4. strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. you must be organized, prioritize your activities, and be an expert in database management and objection handling.
6. storytelling: making external and internal clients engage with your work, proposals, presentations, conversations, etc.
7. create and do different things that generate acceleration in business development.
