under the direction of the mgr- ehs & security, isresponsible for developing and coordinate the implementation of safety,hygiene, and ergonomic programs at the facility.
specific responsibilities
coordinate the efforts of the safety committee.
coordinate the efforts of the ergonomics committee.
participate on the incidents investigation process.
provide follow up to the implementation of the correctiveactions derived of the incidents investigation process.
provide training to the associates involved on the incidentsinvestigation process.
perform the incidents analysis.
develop the planned safety inspections.
participate on the safety inspection process.
provide follow up to the implementation of the correctiveactions to eliminate/control the hazards identified through the safetyinspection process.
provide training to the associates involved on the safetyinspection process.
participate on the annual corporate compliance inspections.
provide follow up to the completion of the annual corporatecompliance inspections.
perform the ppe assessment of the job positions.
participate on the creation/review of the job safetyanalysis (sop/jsa).
provide training tothe associates involved on the sop/jsa process.
participate on the certification of the driversof piv’s.
skills/requirements
educationand experience requirements
education:
preference bachelor’s degree.
experience:
preference 4 - 7 years’ work experience in the safety, hygiene and ergonomics.
formation:
preference english. Preference knowledge of microsoft windows based softwareapplications.
