job description
* assure uninterrupted development & customizing on sap application including all existing parallel implementations in r/3 erp and s/4hana
* support and consult sap applications during their complete lifecycle – from preparation until the end of stabilization phase. Later, during operations and maintenance until retirement, cooperate with application support team to consult them on sap application landscape issues
* improve and adjust sap application landscape according to business needs
* plan and execute technical upgrades and system refresh activities
* plan and host developer & project manager trainings related to sap application landscape
* be able to temporarily take responsibilities of a project manager
* support and consult building and modifying sap system landscapes
* work with solution managers and technical development managers to answer queries and consult technical questions
* assure that development guidelines, transport process and central it processes are followed
qualifications
* entrepreneurial mindset with ability to organize own work and coordinate the work of other sap experts
* work successfully in virtual teams on sap application landscape topics
* enjoy driving sap system upgrades
* expert knowledge in 1 or 2 modules of sap erp (preferably mm or/and sd) with at least 4 years of experience.
* experience in abap coding or at least debugging
* working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. Ability to interpret quality indicators
* problem-solving skills (analysis, options, driving decision)
* foster open and trustworthy collaboration in multinational teams
* good communication skills and ability to effectively cooperate with bigger teams. Combine technical knowledge with effective communication
