*purpose of position*
- coordinate engineering design changes as part of ec implementation process for new battery projects.
- introduce assure new products for lithium-ion batteries mfg. on-time/on-capacity
- assure no engineering sample lot/manufacturing samples lot/ pilot / launch delay or service level issues due to lithium-ion battery mfg execution or capacity constraints
- build good cross-functional relationships within b&d.
- provide leadership to influence team members and organization.
- review equipment design proposals to ensure desired intent is achieved.
- strong corrective actions implementations.
- new battery participation dfmea (design failure mode effects analysis)
- continue exploring lean & low-cost automation continuous process improvement batteries mfg. processes.
- overseas transfer new production equipment.
- lead new production lines engineering approvals for mass production (following our internal process approvals rea process)
- support new components our supplier's process approvals.

- ensure that the quality, environment and health and safety management systems are implemented at work and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the current standards of iso 9001, iso 14001 and iso 45001 respectively, when changes are planned and implemented.
- be accountable for the effectiveness of the quality, environment and health and safety management systems at work to senior management and their work team
- make sure the quality and ehs policies are followed.
- make sure to have and / or request the necessary resources for the implementation of the quality, environment and health and safety systems
- maintain communication at all levels about the performance of the organization about the quality, safety and health management systems.
- promote the continuous improvement of the quality, health and safety management systems through integrated projects that have an impact on quality, environment and health and safety.
- support other roles in your organization for the improvement and fulfillment of management systems.
*requirements*
*education*:
- bachelor of science degree or equivalent in engineering discipline.
- three to five years' experience in manufacturing process
*required experience and skills include*:
- proficient in the use of microsoft windows and ms office software. Prefer proficiency in windchill and sap.
- lean manufacturing knowledge.
- computer systems knowledge.
- process cost analysis.
- bilingual (english/spanish)
