job summary:
as the quality source inspector you will support in-process and/or final inspection onsite at a supplier who specializes in design, fabrication, and assembly of engineered components for aerospace and industrial application.

2. 3,4,5 axis machining
3. aluminum sheetmetal parts
4. hyrdroformed part
primary responsibilities:
5. perform first piece, in-process and final inspection activities
6. inspect product for conformance prior to shipment.
7. inspect certificates of conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications
8. perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques
preferred qualifications:
9. min 5-10 years of practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on various commodities, including but not limited to machined parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies.
10. experience with machined product such as multi axis machined parts, lathe, hydroforming,and insulation product.
11. understand aerospace standards, such as but not limited to, as9100, as9102, ansi y14.5 – geometric dimensioning and tolerance (gd&t)
12. must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders (pos).
13. experience using various mechanical inspection tools
14. experience performing first article inspections (fais) in accordance to the as9102 standard
must:
15. work in fast paced manufacturing environment
16. speak english
17. provide ppe as required per supplier policies
18. stand, sit, bend, kneel or maneuver as required to complete inspection
19. provide ppe required per suppliers safety policy
