your mission, roles and responsibilities
overall responsibilities and duties:
from serial life, the program manager has the overall responsibility of the program and is a support for all new programs conducted by the program manager.
1. lead serial life core team as functional manager.
2. meet financial targets (serial life cost vs sales) with no impact on operational losses.
3. plan and execute all activities that contribute to implementing the serial life changes following the specific customer requirements and according to forvia procedures.
4. plan and coordinate all activities that contribute to serial life program success.
the main missions of the role are:
1. identify potential risks and opportunities. Ensure risk management and alert process.
2. arbitrate top issues internally or externally within the program.
3. act as the official forvia program representative towards the customer to support its expectations while preserving the company from risk exposure (like engineering change, planning).
4. communicate and report relevant program status to secure proper management support on program issues.
5. manage the serial core team and ensure cooperation with the functions and the plant.
6. support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site's management systems.
your profile and competencies to succeed
qualifications
the ideal candidate will have:
* minimum education level: bachelor’s in engineering.
* 5 years of experience in the manufacturing area, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or program management.
experience:
* experience in engineering and manufacturing in the automotive sector.
* demonstrated product and process engineering experience.
* team management experience.
* experience in budget control and profit enhancement.
* 3 years' experience as program manager is a plus.
skills and competencies:
* knowledge of core tools.

* program management knowledge.
* ability to develop strong customer relationships at a senior level.
