* develop and manage a results driven sales team.
* develop growth strategy/targets for assigned product line (in conjunction with applicable sales manager(s) for each regional sales/account manager).
* coordinate commercial and technical details with promotion, demonstration, sale and deliverables for product line(s) both pre- and post-sale.
* develop and help facilitate product line training for assigned product line(s); and in accordance with corporate training guidelines.
* field travel required to support customers, sales team, and overall product line growth/development.
knowledge, skills, and abilities
* familiar with manufacturing practices, sanitation, and industrial environment.
* large scale food manufacturing experience.
* solutions provider - ability to review processes and make recommendations on equipment and components needed for them to process the raw materials.
* proficient in microsoft word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, and crm systems (autocad experience preferred).
* strong negotiation and closing skills.
education & experience
* minimum of 5 years of product management, technical sales, or engineering experience in a manufacturing/industrial and food industry.
* bachelor's degree required, preferably in mechanical or industrial engineering (a business degree may also be acceptable).
