job summary
seeking a commissioning manager adept at orchestrating complex commissioning plans and procedures. You'll lead a dynamic team through pre-commissioning checks, troubleshooting, and compliance activities, ensuring seamless project execution. Your expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a culture of safety and quality excellence is paramount for project success.
job description
1. develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project management and engineering teams.
2. lead a multidisciplinary commissioning team consisting of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to execute commissioning activities efficiently and safely.
3. coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials required for commissioning activities.
4. conduct pre-commissioning checks, inspections, and functional tests to verify the integrity and operability of systems and equipment.
5. troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and discrepancies identified during the commissioning process.
6. ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the commissioning phase.
7. provide regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and challenges.
8. participate in project meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits to promote a culture of safety and quality excellence.
9. coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to facilitate a smooth transition from commissioning to operational readiness.
10. support training activities for operations personnel to ensure proper operation and maintenance of commissioned systems and equipment.
11. you will be the commissioning manager on a $2b power plant under construction in tuxpan mexico.
skills required
12. a strong understanding of production processes and equipment, along with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
13. experience in managing large-scale commissioning activities, including developing plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
14. effective leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, along with excellent communication skills to convey objectives, expectations, and feedback clearly to stakeholders and team members.
education/training/certifications
15. high school diploma or ged.
pay rate/salary
16. base compensation: $120/hour - $150/hour (actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
