purpose: as a member of worley's global compliance team, promote, oversee and implement worley's compliance program to ensure that the location's project operations and functions adhere to and comply with worley's values and code of conduct.
we are looking for a professional expert in compliance, anti-bribery, risk, and anti-corruption policies in mexico to attend to our projects.
responsibilities: be a key point of contact for compliance matters and provide guidance to leadership and personnel in mexico.develop an annual plan of compliance activities with the location leadership, aligning with the regional compliance roadmap and global compliance program.develop, coordinate, and deliver compliance trainings and workshops in english and spanish to worley employees and third-party contractors to promote ethical conduct and compliance.work closely with the location's leadership to conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.ensure due diligence is conducted on all third parties before entering contracts, covering evaluated risks from the compliance perspective.provide regular reports and updates to the chief compliance officer and location director in mexico, as well as the compliance team in colombia and india.ability to live in veracruz is required.exclusive requirements: 5-7 years of experience in ethics and compliance.a self-starter who can work independently and as a member of the global team.experience in corporate compliance.self-motivated with clear communication skills at all levels.strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and establish objectives.ability to provide effective service while adhering to compliance and corporate standards.ability to coordinate overall training plans.time management skills.working knowledge of both spanish and english with excellent writing and analytical skills.strong understanding of anti-bribery & corruption laws, worley's code of conduct and values.knowledge of fcpa and uk bribery legislation preferred.if you need accessibility adjustments, please mention it in your application.moving forward together we want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
