Laboratory and food safety guidelines for all products familiesresponsible for establishing long-term goals, strategies, plans, and policies in terms of metrics and food safety systems, ensuring compliance with government and client regulations.main responsibilities:generate, implement, and maintain procedures and food safety systems to meet global regulatory requirements.design and implement standardized procedures for measuring the quality characteristics of the products.establish statistical tools and optimal sampling plans in mp, work in progress, and finished products.establish statistical tools and optimal sampling plans in the supply chain for evaluating compliance with critical control points in the market.design and evaluate standardized points for measuring the quality characteristics in process using mes systems or equivalent tools in the value chain.define the selection of measurement equipment for quality and food safety and its application to each stage of the process.define calibration, frequency, and assurance standards (r + r) in the measurement laboratory equipment and in supply chain processes.maintain consistent methods for the collection and analysis of statistical data to predict important trends for product quality along the value chain.ensure support to operations and continuous improvement teams for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.be a resource for quality equipment at each of our plants and technology teams to provide advice and training as needed.serve as a technical expert in the field on issues related to incidents of food safety and their possible implications for brands.analyze new regulations and proposed plans to ensure compliance, creating new metrics, reporting, tracking trends, and necessary training elements.actively participate in any product recall situation and monitor the withdrawal from the corporate level.knowledge and qualifications:bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in microbiology, food science, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.preferably 3 years of experience in quality assurance/food chemistry and/or microbiology analysis.knowledge of international methods for quality and safety of food.knowledge of iso7025 certification and/or laboratory management (preferred).working knowledge of international metrics and food quality regulatory standards (preferred).ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or other forms.ability for statistical data analysis and data visualization.intermediate or advanced knowledge of microsoft word and excel.advanced english, fluent speaking with written and reading ability.ability to work independently under limited supervision and in fast-paced environments.ability to empower, motivate, inspire the team, lead change, and execute strategic decisions.demonstrate problem-solving skills.open to travel when required (up to 40%).#j-18808-ljbffr
