job summarysummary: to support our extraordinary teams, we're looking to add a business excellence manager.
the "business excellence manager" will be based in guadalajara north, reporting to director quality.
you will be responsible to support establishing the flex future factory operating systems in relation to process/quality/equipment/mes engineering and operations management.
identify the operations kois which are relevant for flex future factory operating system.
standardize the definition and calculations of these kois in a structured way so that it will be used for a review process in the sites.
create policies to implement these kois across flex sites which will include naming standards, process steps to be included, how data maintenance will be performed, and how compliance to these policies will be measured.
what a typical day looks like: support the establishment of the flex future factory operating systems in relation to process/quality/equipment/mes engineering and operations management.utilize continuous improvement (kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions, and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.drive and yokoten the identified best practices based on the accord timelines.create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and bps.conduct industrial engineering, lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of lean continuous improvement culture throughout the organization by co-guiding and co-facilitating lean deployment.perform assessment of cimt operation/supply chain/office and drive initiatives to close gaps.diligently participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.for assigned special project/segment/customer priorities, formulate and propose strategy of lean transformation.coach and facilitate lean transformation activities through kaizen workshops and small group activities.incentivize participation and training of flex employees, suppliers, and customers.the experience we're looking to add to our team: bachelor's degree and equivalent experience.must be able to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs.management skills and technical experience in finance, hr, materials, and operations activities.must demonstrate experience/expertise in quality management.demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex situations and multiple areas.comprehends the strategic impact of the function across sites.lean and/or six sigma black belt preferred.demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.impacts the long-term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site.approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies.establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site.may have p&l responsibility for the function.develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.what you'll receive for the great work you provide: competitive salarylife & medical insurancechristmas bonusfood couponssaving fundlife insuranceflex is an equal opportunity employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
