expected contributions
1. maintain maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining or exceeding targeted net sales volume.
2. recruit, train, coach, and counsel all sales representatives to maximize their potential.
3. participate in the hiring, supervision, evaluation, counseling, training, coaching, and motivating the sales teams, including goal setting and monitoring of production.
4. ride with sales representatives and critique their sales presentations.
5. orient new employees and assist with continuing education/training of the sales team.
6. administer written policies and procedures for departmental operations, including human resource paperwork.
7. participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings, such as seminars and training as required.
8. review and communicate monthly evaluation of team leader/sales representative effectiveness and production based on set goals.
9. implement ongoing motivation programs for sales representatives.
10. train team leaders in closing tables and assist in closing if necessary, with no direct compensation.
11. represent the company in matters of customer relations (problem solving).

candidate profile
1. bachelor’s degree and/or hotel management degree preferred.
2. three to five years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within the vacation membership field.
3. bilingual, ability to speak english and spanish fluently.
4. proven track record of success.
5. excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. excellent computer skills, including but not limited to microsoft office.
7. results-oriented with ability to be flexible.
8. ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.
9. proven time management skills.
10. ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
11. detail-oriented, ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
12. ability to work flexible hours and days, including holidays and/or a six- or seven-day work schedule as required.
13. ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and climb stairs.
14. ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
