About the role
we are seeking a launch manager to lead the industrialization and successful launch of new automotive products, ensuring seamless integration into production with minimal disruption and optimal efficiency. This role plays a critical part in aligning project execution with customer expectations, compliance standards, and business objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
key responsibilities
* project leadership: drive end-to-end launch of new products—from concept to production—ensuring timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
* cross-functional coordination: collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other departments to align strategies and resolve roadblocks.
* process improvement: implement and oversee enhancements to processes for greater efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* risk management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
* resource planning: optimize allocation of resources to meet launch and operational requirements.
* performance monitoring: track kpis and progress metrics to evaluate project performance and outcomes.
* stakeholder communication: maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
* compliance: ensure adherence to automotive industry standards and marelli’s internal policies.
qualifications
* proven experience in process launch or project management within the automotive or electronic systems industry.
* experience in a managerial role.
* bachelor's degree in mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field.
* solid experience in budgeting and cost management (including industrial dossiers, capex, and opex).
* proficiency in apqp and npqp processes.
* hands-on experience with project planning and launch execution.
* strong knowledge of vda 6.3.
* fluent in english.
* excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
preferred qualifications
* familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* knowledge of industry standards (e.g., iso/ts 16949).
* proficiency with erp systems (e.g., sap) and plm tools.
