A production process coach is one of the most important roles in the manufacturing process. A responsible, honest, and results-focused engineer is required. It is the most critical position to coordinate all the activities that take place during the shift and is the one who moves the support areas to achieve the objective. He/she must have communication and operational staff development skills.
qualifications
* education: mechatronic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial engineering or similar.
* work experience: demonstrable experience in the automotive industry. Production, process, quality, industrial maintenance, equipment controls/management, personnel administration.
* languages: professional english
* functional skills: inventory management, production planning, personnel administration, problem solving methodologies global 8ds, six sigma, etc.
* technical skills: knowledge of automation software and hardware (siemens, abb, fanuc), as well as knowledge of electrification lines: electronics, motors, transformers, batteries.
* leadership skills: decision making, conflict management, teamwork and cross-team work, critical and analytical thinking, administration, stress management, service attitude, self-management, adherence to standards, effective communication, conflict management, etc.
responsibilities
safety:
* confirm shift start status, knowledge and application of safety values.
* ensure compliance with safety standards (ast).
* assurance, compliance and analysis of soi process observations (safety observation index).
* leader of incident-accident investigations (oshim – gpa).
* performance, approval and update of qps (sequence of operations, use of personal protective equipment, etc.).
* ensure and monitor license dates such as ecpl, work at heights, crane operation.
* lead by example in behaviors, avoiding unsafe acts and conditions.
* assurance, compliance and analysis of the use of toxic substances in the production area.
* compliance and attention to safety (talks, courses, standard).
quality:
* support in analysis of customer rejections and complaints.
* direct activities to support areas to improve quality metrics (ftt&rty, scrap, contamination, etc.).
* create and ensure compliance with the control plan, monitoring the results of laboratory tests and, if necessary, activate the reaction plan.
* adherence to contamination standards, ensure dirt check tests, audits of processes for the correct handling of production material.
* compliance with the annual "pto contamination" training.
* creation and maintenance of operational documents.
* monitoring, support, attention and solution to the main offenders to the ftt&rty, scrap and cpu indicators.
* responsible for the total quality of the process. Leader, integrator and user of quality tools.
delivery:
* ensure adherence and compliance with the key unifying process (kup).
* ensure 0/100 (0 injuries, 0 defects, 100% flow) of the process.
* prepare a weekly production plan based on inventories.
* confirm inventories at each shift closing.
* execute daily production, maximizing output, maintaining safety, quality and delivery standards.
* monitor production schedule and customer service.
cost:
* support with maintenance engineer in the correct management of the work equipment budget.
* management of personal protective equipment to avoid misuse.
maintenance:
* execution of maximo orders for planned maintenance (pm) and autonomous maintenance (am).
* monitoring of iiot system to determine needs and address bottlenecks.
people:
* ensures the correct administration of the continuous improvement system.
* knowledge and mastery of the collective labor agreement.
* ensure 100% and comprehensive capture of drot (attendance, vacations, delays, overtime).
