In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end client experience—managing communications, overseeing financial reporting, driving accounting projects, and supporting fp&a workflows.this is a hands-on role ideal for someone with 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, a consultative approach, and a passion for helping growing businesses succeed. Experience in the cpg (consumer packaged goods) or food & beverage industries is highly preferred.what you’ll do client management:act as the main point of contact for clients—responding to emails and calls within 24 hours. Build trust through consistency, clear communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Project coordination:manage internal workflows across accounting, fp&a, and operations experts. Track deliverables, flag risks, and ensure timely execution across all financial projects. Financial reporting & accounting oversight:use your technical knowledge to lead the preparation of monthly financials, track kpis, and communicate insights in a clear and approachable way. While quickbooks online (qbo) experience is helpful, a strong understanding of accounting principles and trade spend is essential. Client deliverables:prepare and present financial reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts, trade spend analyses, and client-facing slide decks. You won’t need to build models from scratch, but you should feel comfortable discussing trends and financial health with clients. Industry knowledge (preferred):experience working with distributors like whole foods, unfi, or kehe is a plus. Familiarity with trade spend, cost of goods sold (cogs), and inventory flow (from procurement to finished goods) will set you apart. Consulting mindset:leverage your experience in consulting or client-facing roles to communicate recommendations clearly and effectively.
