the pss oss sys test eng manager.
defines and releases the system test na strategy, ensuring efficient use and assignment of test equipment and test devices (vehicle, hil, bench)
lead a regional team responsible for:
review of system requirements for testability
ensures proper test case definition and linking to known technical requirements.
defines and ensures execution of system and function validation tests including the end user view (vehicle owner).
plans and procures test vehicles according to project plan.
ensures on time vehicle setup, test track rental and test / data collection execution from early development until final validation.
overall owner of test campaigns.
actively manages and optimizes the use of test and validation resources in the project (hc, equipment, material).
tracking of test activities, reporting of test status in system test report, incl.
mlc release recommendation.
develops team competencies and responsibilities
belongs to the ww test community
customer contact in case of escalation

agreement of necessary milestones and deliveries within the project team towards other stakeholders and the customer
deescalation of conflicts within the project team aiming for high efficiency and cooperation
escalation of factbased situations towards project management and superior
*qualifications*:
bachelors degree in related engineering field: electronics, electrical, mechatronics, computer science.
7+ years on automotive r&d experience.
demonstrated experience system test level
demonstrated experience in requirements analysis/management
familiar with driver assistance systems functions and sensors or relevant similar systems.
demonstrated experience on pm methodology, time management, change management and product life cycle.
+3 years experience leading people
demonstrated experience developing teams.
fluent english.
effective communication with different seniority and management levels
good logical problem solver; good attention to detail.
must be willing to travel for training and customer meetings (internationally and/or domestically 10%).
able to effectively prioritize to meet project timing (time management skills)
proficient with requirements management tools such as doors.
experience with software lifecycle management tools such as pts/mks/ims integrity.
iatf16949 and/or automotive spice.
