job summary:
we are seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our growing team as a lean manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting lean methodologies at our international sites in mexico, france, china, and india, ensuring alignment with a2mac1's core values of respect, engagement, and continuous improvement.
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement a global lean strategy that aligns with a2mac1's business objectives, ensuring consistency across all dismantling sites while tailoring solutions to unique challenges of each location.
* oversee lean implementation and improvement activities across multiple sites, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between teams in different regions.
* promote best practices and create synergies to enhance performance and results globally.
* ensure lean initiatives are adapted to meet local needs and cultural contexts of each site, with a strong focus on employee engagement and empowerment.
* champion the importance of the human element in lean transformations.
* lead lean projects that span multiple sites, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.
* use data-driven insights to evaluate progress and impact.
* coordinate training programs and workshops to educate and empower teams at all sites on lean principles, tools, and methodologies.
* foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement, where each employee feels valued and engaged in the process.
* address site-specific challenges with sensitivity to local work environments and cultures, while promoting global alignment.
* monitor kpis across all sites to track lean success and identify areas for further improvement.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business management, or a related field.
* minimum of 5-7 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles, with experience in managing lean practices at a global level, ideally in industrial or dismantling operations.
* proven ability to manage and coordinate lean initiatives across multiple sites or regions.
* strong knowledge of lean methodologies (kaizen, 5s, value stream mapping, smed) with the ability to apply them across diverse environments.
* exceptional leadership skills to manage teams across different cultures and locations.
* proven project management skills, with experience in driving large-scale, global lean initiatives from conception to implementation.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and lead teams remotely and interact with different stakeholders across various regions.
* ability to adapt strategies to meet local needs while maintaining global standards, ensuring consistency and alignment with a2mac1's mission.
