requirements
* proven experience: 5+ years, with a strong portfolio showcasing a user-centric approach and ideally experience in digital loan products or financial services.
* strong business acumen and product thinking.
* comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
* flexibility and ability to quickly learn new skills.
* high proficiency in figma (required) and confluence (optional).
* verbal and written fluency in english & spanish.
bonus points
* knowledge of, or experience with, designing for emerging markets, financial inclusion and digital finance products.
* familiarity with whatsapp as a platform for product experiences.
* experience working directly with crm teams to define communications that contribute to an overall user experience across all touchpoints.
we're looking for a curious, passionate and driven senior product designer to join our small but mighty team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial inclusion in mexico. You'll be instrumental in designing and launching a digital loan product that empowers mexicans, currently underserved, with great financial products. You will work closely with your cross-functional team to build a seamless and delightful experience that you are proud of and that users tell their friends and family about.
this is the ideal role for you if you love the following
* user-centric design: conduct extensive user research, including interviews and usability testing, to deeply understand the needs, pain points, and aspirations of our target audience. Translate those insights into intuitive and user-friendly designs and be the voice of the user.
* end-to-end design: own the entire design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring a cohesive experience across whatsapp and in-app flows.
* rapid iteration & experimentation: lead a fast-paced, iterative approach to design. Prototype, test (a/b), and iterate on designs quickly, incorporating user feedback and data-driven insights drawn from user analytics.
collaboration & communication
work closely with product managers, engineers, business analysts and marketers to bring your designs to life and ensure seamless implementation. Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to the broader team.
qualifications
* proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 0 to 1 environment, demonstrating adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to drive product strategy and vision while conceptualizing and designing end-to-end user experiences.
* demonstrated experience translating user insights and business goals into impactful design solutions that result in high business impact and user satisfaction with particular emphasis on the nuances of digital loan experiences.
* user research expertise: demonstrated proficiency in planning and conducting user research (including surveys), translating insights into actionable design decisions and influencing your team.
* proficiency in analyzing user behaviors using tools such as bots.
* prototyping & testing skills: strong prototyping and user testing skills, with experience using various tools and methodologies.
* passion for social impact: genuine desire to make a difference and empower underserved communities through design.
