summary
as a partner marketing senior consultant - partner, google cloud marketing (gcm) you will play a crucial role in embedding google cloud's suite of products and solutions with our partner's go-to-market strategy and executing joint marketing plans with partners. Through our partnerships, you are responsible for increasing awareness and consideration of cloud products and solutions, generating demand through cross-selling and upselling, and driving engagement with existing and prospective customers. In this role, you will build and execute partner events and campaign activities such as digital signage, direct mail, and content syndication with key business partners, to generate new sales opportunities, accelerate existing opportunities and customer penetration, and drive integration with partners and their customer relationships.
work you’ll do:
* campaign support: assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of joint marketing campaigns with partners.
* content creation: develop and curate marketing materials, including blog posts, case studies, social media content, and email campaigns.
* event coordination: support the organization and promotion of partner events, webinars, and trade shows.
* data analysis: monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* relationship management: maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* market research: conduct research to identify market trends, competitive analysis, and new partnership opportunities.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
* 6-8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on field marketing or related roles
* experience in coordinating and supporting events, such as trade shows, conferences, and local meetups.
* previous experience in managing partner relationships.
* ability to collaborate with sales teams and other marketing functions to execute field marketing initiatives.
* strong networking skills for engaging with local communities.
* ability to bring creative and innovative ideas to field marketing campaigns.
* experience in adapting strategies to changing market conditions.
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
preferred qualifications
* degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
* 6+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on partner marketing or channel marketing
* familiarity with marketing automation tools, crm systems, and other relevant marketing technologies
* familiarity with partner relationship management (prm) tools
* previous experience in managing partner relationships.
