meet the team
responsible for end-to-end global component planning on the related commodity to achieve cisco’s revenue target. You will need to work cross-functionally with supply chain operations and with extended partners (e.g. Finance, bu), to drive the component participatory planning and execution process.
your impact
* develop & execute end to end global component supply planning, (including co-planning with suppliers), for the related commodity.
* partner with cisco’s hub operations team to support different inbound fulfillment modes. Own inventory decision making and rationale ensuring alignment to weeks of supply strategy.
* resolve component shortages through active communication with relevant suppliers & regional partners with agility.
* manage/mitigate e&o through appropriate participatory and analytical techniques while improving revenue potential.
* develop partnership with suppliers and gsm to ensure supplier and commodity specific strategies exist to achieve cisco business needs and requirements.
* handle volatile technology and industry transitions as well as heavy interaction with suppliers, hubs, and engineering on qualifications and npi ramp-up.
minimum qualifications:
* 7+ years of validated experience with materials management, supplier relationship management, and/or supply/demand planning
* ability to develop and execute short, mid, and long-term strategies
* adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions for complex business situations
* strong influencing, collaboration, communication, negotiation, and change-management skills.
preferred qualifications:
* strong industry knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
