to manage the business continuity for latam biscuits and grains portfolios through business sustaining initiatives related to key ingredients such as additivies & fats and oils.
this role will guide the research for these categories to enable business continuity across latam sector and will identify harmonization opportunities to deliver product consistency in the different markets
*your impact*
as an r&d product developer & ingredients sr.
engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- *
ensuring business continuity* by developing new or alternative suppliers for food additives and fats & oils while meeting ingredient standards.
- * co-leading business sustaining initiatives* for fats, oils & additives to support the business continuity plan for latam biscuits and grains in the short, medium, and long term.
- * identifying and executing bcps/productivity initiatives* within these categories to meet business objectives.
- * supporting ingredient contingencies with supply chains* by identifying root causes and defining action plans to prevent business disruptions.
- * co-leading latam strategies* for ingredient harmonization in baking products, with a focus on fats & oils.
- * executing new process and system implementations* (e2e track, accolade, plm, project system) and aligning documentation processes (technical stage gate) for productivity initiatives.
- * contributing to future ingredient agenda development* based on market trends and business priorities.
- * supporting supplier networking* based on business needs.
qualifications:

- food engineering background or related
*experience*:
- *3-5 years* of experience in *food research and development*.
- *expertise with ingredients* and related products, specifically in baking and baked goods*:fats, oils & additives*
