*main responsibilities*- partner with local leaders, coes and broader hr team, in the development and implementation of hr initiatives that support the achievement of thermo fisher scientific strategic objectives.- recommend and implement strategies for developing and maintaining a positive colleague experience in alignment with thermo fisher's culture.- develop and ensure a consistent implementation of hr policies and procedures compliant with country's regulations and corporate guidelines.- advice on employee relations as required to enhance workforce performance and productivity, identifying, and addressing people and organizational risks.- ensure competitiveness and internal equity by supporting and advising on issues related to compensation and benefits.- identify opportunities for improvement of processes related to the hr department, proposing efficient solutions and best practices.

provide mentorship and feedback to leaders as the need arises.- participate in additional hr projects and initiatives, as required.
*minimum requirements/qualifications*:- experience in human resources generalist role (3-5 years).- demonstrated knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, training and development.- excellent interpersonal and influence skills.- experience of working in a fast-paced and matrix environment with a high level of change, would be ideal.- experience with workday would be an advantage, but not essential.
