you will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing.

*key responsibilities*:
- review and convert requisitions into subcontract purchase orders, reviewing applicable documentation for conformance with honeywell requirements.
- manage po requisitions errors with requestors via one on one and periodic training
- enforce all supply po policies, including but not limited to: competitive bid policy, pay term policy, bond policy, insurance requirements, and all appropriate audit documentation attached to po, etc.
- review, edit and process change orders on existing purchase orders and check for compliance to hon change management policies.
coordinate with project managers and project admins to correct or clarify errors in paperwork, expired quotes, missing documentation.
- prepare subcontractor contracts back-to-back with customer contracts in close cooperation with solutions and service team
- re-negotiate supplier and subcontractor offers in post award phase to achieve additional savings
- throughout the performance period, communicate regularly with stakeholders on subcontractor performance, and take action when necessary to remedy unsatisfactory performance (claim preparation / resolution) in accordance with terms and conditions.
- work with supply chain buyers and accounts payable as necessary to resolve escalated/ urgent invoice resolution issues.
*you must have*:
- bachelor degree
- sap experience
- 3+ years buying experience or related field (supply chain)
