the site quality leader is responsible for monitoring and driving improvements in the quality of products and components produced on site. This includes setting goals, ensuring that current components and products meet specifications, implementing and maintaining controls, and driving continuous improvements to products and processes. This involves collaborating with other cross-functional leaders in engineering, operations, sourcing, and the channel to prioritize projects and drive corrective actions that address the root cause of problems.
requirements:
1. experience: 5+ years preferred in engineering, project management, operations, quality, supplier development.
2. required education: bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field.
3. advanced english.
4. valid visa and passport.
5. required travel: up to 50% for the first 6 months, 5-20% after initial onboarding.
6. in-depth knowledge of: hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems bobcat products bobcat production processes, including machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly
7. experience in lean six sigma.
8. solid knowledge of quality systems and processes.
9. good understanding of key business processes, such as siop, npd, and materials.
10. good understanding of sites and customers in ce business.
responsibilities:
11. implement the quality roadmap and implementation plan for the site.
12. lead and manage the site, product, and internal quality team governance process for products produced on site. Monitor and track the progress of defects by reviewing internal customer information, warranty and arrival condition reports, and by conducting formal audits and assessments.
13. work with other product quality team leaders and service managers to monitor the quality of products and components produced on-site.
14. continuously monitor the quality of components and products supplied and manufactured in-house to verify compliance with specifications.
15. continuously monitor and address emerging issues, while ensuring that the most important projects/issues are identified through the internal quality team process and completing those projects effectively in the shortest possible time.
16. be the point of contact for quality communications related to site-built products and components with internal stakeholders.
