Responsible to source, manage and maintain contracts for customs services, sea containers dray truck carriers, cca truck carriers services, freight forwarders and airfreight.
- responsible for organizing and managing gmm contracts based on internal business processes.
- negotiate the commodities service costs to increase productivity and profitability in logistics operations.
- develop and maintain good communication with business partners.
- sap maintenance in accordance to contracts and internal customers request.
- support internal customers (inbound, cca, & outbound) for spot buy request and updates on sor (scope of requests) based on business and market change.
- works closely with business partners to strengthen relationships that last in our mutual benefit
- winning with integrity policy.
- acquires knowledge of gm's internal systems for contract management
- coordinates data collection and monthly submission for accelerate and opex initiatives for logistics purchasing that are shared to senior leadership.
- leads contract management and updates on apv purchasing logistics file to make sure all data is the most recent.
- follows correct timing on pre-rfqs, recommendations and pdi generation (all related back up data) per commodity and sourcing.
- each sourcing should be planned and delivered with the right timing based on complexity, expiration date, open items, volume, apv, legal implications and pre-approved by leader and ct.
- plans and schedule staff meetings and do follow up on open items, shared agendas management and updates team on newest implementations.
- leads pdi monthly and random audits to all logistics purchasing commodities.
- leads random and monthly audits on spot buys (best price, service and benefit for final customer).
- analysis complexity and states clear objectives to present to leader and establishes clear measurable results and process with leader.

- at least 5-years of proven experience.
- bachelor's degree or equivalent.
