*purpose statement*:business systems analysts serve as the voice of the business to it by helping the business implement and support technology solutions in a cost-effective way, determining the requirements of a project or program, communicating them clearly to stakeholders and solutions development, helping end users test and deploy the solutions, and providing customer service excellence while maintaining the solutions.
*key job accountabilities*:- serve as a point of contact for the business and manage the relationship to optimize operational excellence and ensure customer service excellence, including accountability for customer satisfaction.- contribute as a global team member to develop enterprise solutions.
represent the business by collaborating with all it teams (e.g.
infrastructure, development, service desk) to ensure the solution meets business expectations.- exercise business process and tool knowledge related to assigned area to provide level 2 end user support, while ensuring that annual objectives are met, it principles/procedures are followed, and it service levels (olas) are attained.
perform incident trend analysis to make product improvement recommendations.- deliver assignments on time and with high quality.
actively participate in or lead functional user groups/qbrs and other meetings by sharing common problems and solutions across multiple sites/regions, providing user request updates, and managing priorities of upcoming demands.- work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and business needs of low impact, followed by articulating those into documented business requirements and demands.
assist with prioritization exercises by providing cost and effort analysis.
execute according the defined the priority of demands focused on the documented roadmap.
*additional accountabilities*:- assist solutions development: support project delivery by using requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, participate in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions, and perform/coordinate functional and user acceptance testing (uat).- systems configuration: responsible for configuring systems, where needed, to accommodate system changes related to support, project, and enhancement activities.
regulatory compliance: ensure that solutions support plexus and customer policies surrounding key controls and compliance, such as sox, itar, ear, fda, and others as appropriate.- technical currency: remain current on plexus business, industry and it technology trends in order to provide forward looking solutions.- minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 5%).- additional duties as assigned.
*education/experience qualifications*:- a minimum of an associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.- 6 months or more of related experience is preferred.- experience in computing systems or it support is highly desirable
