*p*o*s*i*t*i*o*n *s*u*mm*a*r*y*:the ame scheduler is responsible for managing the production of prototype speakers, amplifiers or radios to support product development requirements.
the scheduler is the primary liason between program management, design, ame process engineers, quality, ame production and ame warehouse, and must be an effective communicator to keep all teams informed of requirements and roadblocks
*s*u*p*e*rv*is*o*r*y r*e*s*p*o*ns*i*b*ili*t*i*e*s*:
- as a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).
*responsibilities*:
- receive and review all production requests for prototypes
- *integrate demand into sap (master data, boms, work orders,etc..).
*:
- *communicate requirements to pilot plant stakeholders.
*:
- *validate dcns and tdns to be ready previously to the build.
*:
- *release kick off meeting with all pilot stakeholders for each build.
*:
- *procure all components needed for production from vendors or other harman plants*, *that includes all the set up of the master data.
*:
- *work with procurement for extension of info records.
*:
- *work with finance for accounting setups/views and pricing.
*:
- *keep track of the materials in global allocation with supply chain management area.
*:
- *escalate critical items with procurement team.
*:
- *manage prototype production schedule by prioritizing multiple requirements within production capacity*:
- *support internal customers by communicating material and/or production schedules and issues*:
- *expedite component procurement or production operations that delay schedules, and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
*:
- *meet material requirements for production, while controlling and managing overall inventory levels.
*:
- *develop and implement processes to execute effective operational procedures for inventory control and inventory management.
*:
- *escalate and/or redirect technical issues when necessary.
(ex.
material marking codes, wrong drawing, etc.

- *keep communication and work with logistics team for import and export.

- *keep updated otd kpi.

- *manage and dispose obsolete materials and identify improvements to reduce or minimize obsolescence risk*

- 1-3 years in a manufacturing or related environment.
- knowledge on inventory tasks (cycle count, audits, customer service).
- ability to work under stressful conditions.
- computer knowledge.
- 1-2 years experience in an erp manufacturing environment (sap preferably)
- knowledge of iatf 16949 and iso 14001.
- english 90%, advance english level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations).
