Reporting to the executive director, marketing, the regional marketing manager, manages and implements marketing and branding programs and initiatives designed to drive traffic and sales for ihop franchisees in mexico and puerto rico. The regional marketing manager will provide marketing expertise while communicating and implementing the company's marketing strategy in mexico to assist in achieving sales, profitability, and traffic goals. They will also support the brand manager in central and south america.
responsibilities:
1. manages and implements media, marketing and branding programs designed to drive traffic and sales in the mexican market.
product management – campaign and menu roll-outs
promotion activation & local store marketing
monitor sales and traffic performance, return on investment, provide feedback on results, and propose revisions to marketing plans.
coordinate and leverage research studies as needed.

3. collaborate with franchisees and their teams to achieve comp sales and traffic goals by providing business analytics, marketing expertise and leadership.
4. conducts field marketing visits to plan and monitor marketing activities.
5. analyzes market trends and develops programs to address specific market needs.
6. serves as communication liaison between franchise/company system and marketing.
7. develops standardized rollout guides and marketing flash updates for all market level activity.
8. oversees multiple franchise groups to ensure strategic management and efficient spending of the local requirement.
9. provides regular insight and analysis into franchise business within assigned territory.
10. performs other responsibilities as needed.

skills & requirements:
12. bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or relevant work experience
13. 6-8 years’ experience in mass consumption marketing role including restaurant marketing experience, particularly in qsr, family and / or casual dining industry.
14. excellent project management skills, ability to identify and manage highly complex projects based on strategic priorities of the business unit and organization.
15. expertise in digital / social media / e - commerce
16. experience with media, production, and advertising agencies.
