Due to the ongoing growth of activity in the area of new projects, we are currently looking to add an it technician to our mergon méxico facility
*key responsibilities*:
- provide first-line technical support to end-users in mexico, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other it equipment ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- collaborate with the it team in global headquarters to escalate complex issues and participate in troubleshooting activities, as necessary.
- manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company guidelines.
- conduct regular system audits and updates to ensure security and performance standards are met.
- assist in the implementation of it projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
- provide technical training and guidance to end-users on it-related matters.
- maintain accurate documentation of it assets, configurations, and support procedures.
- maintain security measures to protect company data and systems, including antivirus software, firewalls and remote access ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
*targets*:
- provide all first level support to mergon mexico team
- escalate issues to other it team members ensuring mexico issues are resolved inline with global kpi’s
- work closely with global it team to maintain compliance with company polices and procedures
- lean iqms and provide first level support to iqms
- support global it team with new initiatives and projects
