seeking qualified professionals to quality engineer for supporting in irapuato. The individual in this role will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement for the quality system. This includes measuring and monitoring quality metrics for daily operations per the quality control plan and meeting or exceeding our customer's expectations.
Additionally, this role will assist with ensuring the pursuit of continuous improvements focus on anpqp requirements from nissan.
This role reports to the quality manager, with frequent collaboration with the operations group.

srg is in parque tecno-industrial castro del rio in irapuato, guanajuato, is a four-core manufacturing site: plastic injection, painting, chrome plating and assembly. More than 700 employees produce a wide range of products for the consumer business, including fascia and rear appliques, grilles, spoilers, emblems and nameplates, body side moldings and others.
*what you will do*
comply with iatf 16949, anpqp and nissan specific requirements.
Manage customer (nissan) complaint, as the window of feedback to customer, necessary con-call with customer, or support domestic or oversea business trip if need.
Get well understand own customers - vehicles, locations, claims, warranties, trainings, portal, procedures, etc.
Build good contacts and relationships - liaisons, engineers, managers, and even higher contacts.
Claims - efficient and effective 8d's.
Engage in apap - cross function team for the updating and finalization of ppap's, fmea's control plans, process flow charts, gauges, work instructions, and inspection / test plans. Engage and buy in apqp / ppap.
Customer portal management, track customer scorecard and their improvements.
Lead customer audits and engage the team needed for success pass.
Authorized to stop line when abnormal quality split occurs.
Treat gp12 as external customers and have sound problem solving process.
Customer issues caused by suppliers, request for corrective actions, records, charge back.
Others needed from the plant for quality improvement, like powerbi improvement projects.
*who you are (basic qualifications)*
at least 5 years quality experience in factory, preferably in automotive quality and customer attention.
Familiar with customer portal like nissan.
Familiar with quality tools, e.g. Apqp, ppap, fmea, spc, msa, 8d, etc.
Fluent oral and written english.
Good computer skills - word, excel, powerpoint, etc.
