this role reports into the latin america drilling services sales managerthis position is responsible for either originating sales or supporting sales by building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new opportunities to build the opportunity pipeline, promoting the value propositions of bkr to new and existing customers, and assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies for drilling services in mexico & central americathe position is responsible for driving market share and profitable revenue growth, operating as the primary sales role in the demand-to-inquiry (dti) process and in the inquiry-to-order (ito) process.
the position is also responsible for owning or supporting sales quotas, by ensuring all single-pl tenders/quotes are delivered to customers, while also supporting ofse region sales on the delivery of any cross-pl 'must win' tenders/quotesessential responsibilities:key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- build and maintain customer relationships- promote the business value propositions of bkr to customers and internal stakeholders- work in close collaboration with region/global drilling services headquarters (hq), global ofse hq, and region ofse sales & commercial teams, inclusive of market intelligence, early engagement, technical sales, equipment & channel sales, accounts, commercial operations, commercial pricing, commercial risk, and commercial contracts teams- build the drilling services opportunity pipeline through identifying single-pl and cross-pl opportunities- maintain the pl opportunity pipeline through ensuring all data within deal machine reflects the latest information and intelligence from the customer- support key account or local/region account teams on business development planning processes- assist in the development of product line sales strategies- primary sales role involved in the dti process, work in collaboration with technical sales, if applicable- primary sales role involved in the ito process- own an individual sales target, or support a sales target for a team- sell, or support the sale of, the product line's portfolio, which may include saleable, services, and rentals- assist with pricing recommendations for new opportunities and contracts or work on the basis of predefined contracts and their price frameworks- coordinate and collaborate across several functional groups - engineering, quality, hse, commercial, legal, finance, etc
