This expansive property will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 villas & estate residences centrally located in the "tourist corridor" between cabo san lucas and san josé del cabo on the top of baja california sur with amazing views of the sea where the sea of cortez meets the pacific ocean. Amenities will include three restaurants, three resort pools, an open-air fitness center, spa & spa garden and a clubhouse event facility.

the role of the restaurant chef- peruvian specialty
the restaurant chef is responsible for providing leadership and management for the kitchen department by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability of the department, division, and hotel.
the restaurant chef will support the executive sous chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, overseeing all kitchen operations including quality controls inspection, food safety assurance, and supervising all kitchen staff in order to ensure the highest standards of food quality.
knowledge and skills
* preferably culinary school graduate.
* peruvian & nikkei experience is required.
* minimum 3 years management experience in kitchen operations.
* excellent english and spanish language.
* solid knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
* experience in collaborating with celebrity chef.
* have strong skills in kitchen administration and organization.
* strong communication, leadership and training skills.
* the ability to train, lead, motivate and coach all employees in the kitchen’s food production area to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
* the ability to assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes, ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration, utilize creative menu planning to minimize waste.
* the ability to ensure that haccp sanitation standards as set forth by four seasons and federal regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
* the ability to control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
* the ability to ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.
* flexibility to work on different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* restaurant pre-opening experience preferred.
* you are actively involved in identifying and assessing the needs of your team and investing in their career development through effective coaching, training, and by instilling our company values.
