Facilities maintenance manager
as a facilities manager, your role will be pivotal in managing both the technical aspects of our facilities as well as coordinating with various stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in place for our operations to run smoothly. You'll also be responsible for managing third-party providers, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations. Your ability to adapt corporate guidelines to local regulations will be crucial in maintaining compliance across all our locations. Additionally, you'll play a key role in monitoring energy consumption and implementing cost-saving measures.
responsibilities:
* ensure all work performed within the space is done with high quality and without impact to internal/external customers.
* coordinate daily with third-party providers ensuring compliance with contracted slas.
* manage store requests and order process to suppliers, including receiving quotes and validating invoices.
* administer the budget and ensure profitability.
* develop and supervise suppliers to ensure service quality.
* adapt the scope of maintenance services defined at corporate level to local regulations, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
* monitor energy efficiency consumption minimizing costs.
* develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
requirements:
* electrical, mechanical or electromechanical engineer.
* fluent in english (90% spoken, written, reading, writing).
* 5+ years' experience in a similar position (predictive maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities), with proven on-the-job experience in a production environment.
* proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment to component level; must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
* minimum of 8 years' experience in supervising maintenance operations with strong planning and organizing skills.
* demonstrated competence in supervisory skills: motivating employees to meet performance goals, strong communication skills, comfortable with coaching and training individuals and teams, and willing to cover and support a 24-hour operation if necessary.
* working knowledge of personal computers, including autocad and spreadsheet applications, cmms/sap software programs.
* planning and maintenance of resources (budget, cost, spend, capex).
* knowledge of construction and facilities methodologies and adherence to corporate maintenance standards & procedures.
* experience in the implementation of the tpm program.
