*your responsibilities will include but not limited to*:- developing post-si validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design.- developing of components for a emulation-based environment: bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches.- performing and debugging digital emulations-post si and driving to closure of bugs.- developing of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals.- working closely with debugging ww teams, design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, debugs, and tests.- delivering high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environment.- advanced problem-solving and teamwork skills.- strong english communications and details-oriented skills.- willing to interact with other groups, internal customers, also to propose new ideas, etc..*qualifications*:* minimum qualifications,*you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:- bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in the following areas:- digital design, asic design flow and computer architecture.- programming/scripting languages such as c/c++, python, and unix (linux).- debug and emulation environments.- post-silicon validation tools and techniques, including jtag, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.- advanced english level.- must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in mexico (the position is in mexico; it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).- master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.- proficiency in hardware description languages (hdls) such as verilog or vhdl.- functional coverage concepts and implementation.- basic testbench development and test scenarios writing.knowledge of perl and ruby.
