*role summary*:
as a qa engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.
*responsibilities*:
- coordinate with production in order to plan and execute calibration instruments
- manage relations with customers or third party inspectors
- participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
- participate in continuous improvement process (cip) events
- monitor product portfolio kpis and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets
- maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality
- create awareness in the leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them
- collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to qc activities.
- offer all documents as per qap to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries
- other duties as assigned
*requirements / skills*:
- bs or ba degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
- experience in engineering and utilization of lean and six sigma tools and methodologies
- gd&t knowledhe/experience
- fluent in english (written and verbal)
- experience in quailty control department
- understanding of product / process flow
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency in microsoft office suite
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
