*role summary*:as a qa engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures.
this position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements.
you'll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.
*responsibilities*:- coordinate with production in order to plan and execute calibration instruments- manage relations with customers or third party inspectors- participate in external supplier quality testing and audits- participate in continuous improvement process (cip) events- monitor product portfolio kpis and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets- maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality- create awareness in the leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them- collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to qc activities.- offer all documents as per qap to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries- other duties as assigned*requirements / skills*:- bs or ba degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience- experience in engineering and utilization of lean and six sigma tools and methodologies- gd&t knowledhe/experience- fluent in english (written and verbal)- experience in quailty control department- understanding of product / process flow- strong organizational skills- proficiency in microsoft office suite- excellent verbal and written communication skills*req id* : r-814eoe including disability/protected veterans.
