about the role
this role will be in charge of planning and executing projects assigned to keep them on track, manage priorities, work on engineering projects, improve product quality and manufacturing, as well as product lab certification and troubleshooting.
key responsibilities
* provide engineering support on field quality issues reported, offering effective solutions to improve product quality at competitive costs in a timely manner.
* provide factory support regarding product engineering and design fabricated in commercial manufacturing plants under our operative system cx.
* support product etl/ul audits through plants and maintain accurate agency files.
* maintain the accuracy of engineering information, update and maintain master bill of materials (bom), drawings, and engineering specifications.
* provide professional and technical assistance for troubleshooting product support and guidance.
* drive improvements based on end-user experience and perform corrective actions for field issues and product testing.
* develop and test structures and/or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
requirements
* 2-4 years as a product/design engineer.
* 1 year working with product change implementation.
* technical knowledge in hvac equipment and applications, electricity, electronics, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
* time management and organizational skills.
* fluent in english (90%).
although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
* knowledge of design processes and tools.
* parametric design/engineering.
* project management.
