.*responsabilities*:- manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process- enforce plans and implement import/export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.- manage the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import/export activities.- communicate with export and import and related authorities, and customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.- use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in import/export activity and procedures.- monitor, record, analyze and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to import/export activities.- manage/liaise with stock control, warehousing and distribution activities influenced by or reliant upon import/export activities.- manage and maintain effective and lawful insurance provisions relating to import/export activities.- maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant ict (information & communications technology) and other systems within the import/export function.- manage itc certifications ctpat/aeo and vat.- monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.- management of the annex 24 system.- management of the 30 annex.- oversee multiple business units mrp systems inventory as it relates to inventory in import and export systems. Report variance, and improve as required.- advise the upper management in every change that may affect the production or sales.*education & certifications*:- *minimum*:bachelor's degree- *preferred*:master's degree*requirements*:- high level of understanding of import and export laws, government reporting, supply chain security regulations, tariff codes and customs software.- create databases in access or excel desirable proficiency in use of ms office software - advanced power point skills required.- ability to work in a large, global corporate structure- self-starter and ability to solve problems take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and strong commitment to excellence.- strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.- fluency in english and spanish required (read, write and speak). 80%+- good understanding of country of origin regulations, hts classification procedures and good database (psi, excel, access, etc.) skills.- ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.- this position requires a four-year degree in international commerce or related field as minimum
