Job description*role purpose.*this is a key business finance role that is focused on business performance and supporting the business with key financial to enable the business drive the business performance.
Provides full scale financial support for wealth private banking businesses including: financial planning, analysis, aop (plan), target setting, customer level detail analysis, pricing, margin, cost / investment management, etc.
*main activities*:
- responsible for financial & strategic analysis covering retail banking products, wealth products, customer propositions & distribution. This includes the development of performance reporting to meet the needs of senior management regional levels & individual country levels and to drive the right management decisions
- simplify, develop and enhance the mi framework that is aligned to group finance mi strategy, with the goal of achieving one version of truth for both financial and non-financial performance indicators that are aligned to the achievement of wpb strategy and is timely, accurate, and complete.
- lead the development and monitoring of financials, kpis and analytics to drive effective measurement of americas wpb performance. Specifically, around revenue and costs plans and forecasts. Given the growth challenges it is imperative that this role works closely with business performance heads of the countries from the region, the heads of wpb in the americas region, the americas wpb head and managers from the countries at the appropriate levels to ensure delivery of agreed upon plans. A related area of responsibility will be to support the strategic plan exercise at the regional level and ensure appropriate integration with regional & global guidance.
- conducts deep dive review with countries on revenues, costs and credit performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- leads the development, reporting and maintenance of all wpb non-financial kpi’ s for the purpose of managing and projecting business performance.
- support efficiency of the function through the elimination of non-standard management information in partnership with global colleagues, which are key stakeholders for this role.
- lead the country teams and develop an effective team through communication. Liaise with group, regional and country stakeholders to develop required reporting & analysis

Requirements*experience*
- analytical ability and strong financial modelling understanding
- +8 yrs of experience in a retail banking or consumer finance institution, in a finance area with high interaction with the business.
- ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of management locally and in london headquarters
- demonstrable experience of building good mis and storytelling.
- finance profesional, with experience leading teams.
- proven record of being able to work and deliver under pressure according to tight deadlines.
- knowleage in tm 1 and digital tools
