Foster a positive relationship between labor representatives and the company, supporting union negotiations and acting as a liaison between management and union representatives.utilize data analytics to generate insights for improving employee relations strategies, identifying trends, and areas for improvement.collaborate with gbpps/gebps and business leaders to address tm performance support plans.establish a network with global er counterparts, legal, and people leaders to share employee relations strategies.requirementseight years of work experience in employee relations, preferably in manufacturing or technology, with exposure to mexico and us industries.direct experience in labor relations, understanding mexican and us labor law and practices, particularly in jalisco, and global labor standards.critical thinking skills, sense of urgency, independent decision making, exacting compliance standards, and passion for doing what's right for the company and its people.strong people skills, with good command of written and spoken english.effective communication and persuasion skills, ability to build trusting relationships, and interact with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.able to travel for work to any north american micron location.preferred qualificationsexperience in project management and driving programs collaboratively and independently.proficient in case management tools like ethicspoint, servicenow, or other similar platforms.experience with u.s. or multinational companies.micron prohibits the use of child labor and complies with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and international labor standards.micron does not charge candidates any recruitment fees or unlawfully collect payment from candidates for employment.
