responsibilities:
* support existing business processes as well as assisting in the design and configuration of technical and modular enhancements to mes, traceability, and industry 4.0 systems and solutions.
* support traceability and mes systems for americas plants.
* assist on system support, design and deployment within the business unit region.
* project deliverables and kpi according to division standard (project id card, monthly reports, risk and security analysis...)
* mes monitoring indicators.
* regional apps monitoring indicators.
* identify new needs and opportunities to support business operations/productivity and/or quality through plant needs.
* assist on functional projects to support new and existing flows and systems as it relates to traceability operations.
* assist on functional projects to support new and existing flows for customers (internal and external) as it relates to mes systems.
* assist on functional projects to support new and existing flows for customers (internal and external) as it relates to industry 4.0 systems and deployments.
* level 2 support for mes and industrial systems in business unit.
* configure and support communications software components.
* develop relationship with functional departments and an understanding of business processes for current and future needs.
* monitor and manage external providers for maintenance, evolution and development of regional apps.
* interact/coordinate international suppliers related to mes and traceability.
experience:
* minimum 4 years of experience with mes systems.
* sap integration to mes.
* minimum 2 years experience on sql queries and procedures knowledge.
* sap masterdata knowledge is a plus.
* plc integration to mes experience is a plus.
* kepware knowledge is a plus.
* college degree in information sciences/engineering or related areas or equivalent combination of education, experience and skills in information systems.
