showcase your interpersonal strengths as an assistant front office manager, where you will lead, train, and recognize your team in support of exceptional guest service.
please note: this is a temporary position from april to september 2025. What you will be doing: consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to colleagues & guests alikeassist the front office manager in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards and procedures are followedfulfill the role of manager on duty during shiftshandle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guestsensure proper staffing and scheduling for all front office colleagues in accordance with business needs and productivity guidelinestrain, coach, develop and provide performance management to all front office colleagues on an ongoing basiswork closely with other departments to ensure the smooth management of operations through preparation and follow upability to work a variety of shifts and days of the week.
overnight shifts will be required, as well as weekend shifts on a regular basis. Qualificationsyour experience and skills include: previous experience, at least two years, in a front office setting, in a similar setting, is requiredservice focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience, in a full service hotel is an assetcomputer literate with knowledge of microsoft office; prior experience working with lightspeed or a related system is an assetfirst aid certification or previous knowledge/experience with health & safety/first aid/emergency response is an assetcommunicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly (both written & verbal) with proven networking/interpersonal skillsresults orientated, positive outlook, attention to detail with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize additional informationour commitment to diversity & inclusion:we are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
