we are nowlooking for a dynamic individual to join our mexico and centralamerica commercial team as an account manager.responsibilities/description - understand specific market andcustomer ecosystem including activities, strategies, brands,markets, consumers via different sources - develop multi-levelcross-functional customer relationships with key customer decisionmakers/influencers - contribute/lead commercial negotiation(e.g.,core listing, annual pricing, payment terms, rebates/cost savingsagreements, supply contracts) - maximize potential advantage to iffwhile delivering optimal solutions to customer (gp improvement,catalogue optimization, complexity reduction, etc.)
- ensurecustomer supply chain requirements, processes and kpis are wellcommunicated to iff operations to ensure we meet customer needs -understand customer regulatory requirements/changes and update datato gra and input to project management system - acts as the maincustomer point of contact in all matters - demonstrate iff cultureprinciples and live our values - manage and/or mentor junior teammembers/peers, and onboard and coach new team members - influencingstakeholders to align on shared objectives - lead projects througheffective communication, and collaboration with key external andinternal stakeholders - ensure objectives are aligned to thebusiness and personal development plans are in place - proactivelysolicit and give feedback to nurture high performing teams -demonstrate leadership courage by challenging the status quo andholding self and others accountable to always doing the rightthings - develop commercial strategy for allocated customerportfolio - build and execute account plans successfully -responsible for setting clear commercial targets (sales/gp/newwin/grow market share) with the manager / achieve new wins / growmarket / market share aligned with account strategic plan - defineand suggest the required account resources, investment, andrelevant service model to support the account - effectivelycommunicate the account plans with stakeholders including internaland external team members - review/update the progress of accountplans versus kpi targets - ensure accurate monthly sales forecastto allow for effective operations planning and financial analysis -conduct retrospective reviews on projects wins and losses - reviewbrief and ensure all objectives and parameters are clear -influence customer brief definition to iff's advantage - organize aformal commercial kick off with relevant stakeholders and finalizeaction plan, objectives & timelines with clear deliverables andkey milestones and update project management system - liaise withglobal/regional/category stakeholders on overall plan, strategy,and deliverables - evaluate and decide on final submissions withflavors design group and creative teams - effectively promote themost appropriate iff product solutions / portfolio aligned with thebrief - generate proposal/price aligned with category marginguidelines or pricing officer - prepare presentation materials andstaging submissions with stakeholders that maximizes iff commercialadvantage and resources - monitor and ensure cost-to-serve ofprojects adhere to guidelines - communicate project results andconduct retrospective reviews on projects wins and losses - updateproject management system and issue adoption report in a timelymanner - manage volumes/timing expectations and liaise withoperations to ensure supply chain readiness - defend and growaccounts whilst actively scouting for new customers, transformingleads into profitable business opportunities - accurately forecastand update sales forecast tool to capture performance vs budget,business risk & opportunities, new wins - monitor & provideregional account sales performance (monthly / quarterly / annually)and provide strategic project updates to manager - implement priceincrease in line with country/region strategy - lead internal andexternal teams to win projects - able to work under pressurerequirements experience: - approximately 3-5 years of experience insales, sales service, product development, or marketing preferablyflavors, chemical or ingredients industries - strong track recordat a similar level with a passion to succeed in commercial skills -customer centric with b2b management experience - analytical withthe ability to deal with financialconcepts/processes(pricing/margin/forecasting) - strong interestsin product development, consumers, and market understanding.
