the hris workday analyst position in the hr systems organization primary responsibility is to provide technical solutions around hp's core human capital management system (hcm) functionality, business processes and configuration.

*responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following*:
- manage workday and other hr systems configuration.
- oversee the configuration and maintenance of workday and other hr systems to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
- solicit, develop, document, test and manage business and technical requirements and provide detailed design and business rules to support the requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control
- basic level knowledge of system architectures and software development methodologies
- understand dependencies of all relevant systems that impact hr data
- create detailed implementation plans and update project plans in collaboration with other system analysts
- support any system issues and partner with it as necessary to troubleshoot or resolve problems
- assist with and/or manage documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes
*qualifications*:
- knowledge of workday core hcm configuration and hr functional areas
- detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
- strong personal networking skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- proven experience working in project oriented high-performing teams
- excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex business and technical topics to a wide array of business, technical, and executive audiences
- independent worker and definite self-starter.

- bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science, information systems, human resources or a closely related discipline
