position overview the operator position is a role within the security global ops team that involves answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms, cctv and other alerting platforms.
the role requires evaluating global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalating them accordingly.
the operator also monitors employee business travel and notifies security management of potential risks or alerts.
additionally, they are responsible for monitoring and communicating situational awareness information and intel alerts, as well as working with security leadership on incident documentation and cctv footage review and download.
other responsibilities include intake and action of all service requests through phone, email, ticketing system, and initiation of incident reports or work orders for security systems where required.
this position is essential to the security of the organization and performs other duties as assigned by management.
