mission:
account management / segment leader work on developing solid relationships with hitachi energy mexico customers and accounts. Executing medium to long-term planning to ensure hitachi's base business in the assigned segment.
responsibilities:
* understands the key business drivers of the relevant customers' business and business environment and interprets the impact and opportunity for hitachi energy.
* participates in the development of sales strategies for the account by providing the customer's current business and long-term plans.
* leads the development and implementation of the account plan and sow growth actions.
* defines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement with a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.
* sells products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets representing all hitachi energy.
* creates added value for the customer and hitachi by ensuring a coordinated sales approach.
* monitors competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
* gives input on market price developments.
* drives application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools (sales force, account plans, etc.) for the account.
* resolves problems and ensures high-quality service to the customers.
your background:
* degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
* at least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
* experience in sales of electrical equipment and projects for the automotive sector.
* experience in sales of electrical equipment and machines.
* knowledge in renewable energy.
* experience in sales of power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
* negotiation skills.
* assertive communication.
* leadership skills.
