Job summary
the successful implementation of new products and technologies is crucial for achieving business targets on time, within efficiency, quality, cost, production dates, and safety targets. This involves analyzing future growth requirements and optimizing footprint capacity.
additionally, supporting the full use and application of manufacturing methods and lean techniques is essential for implementing new changes.
key responsibilities:
* implementation/coordination/execution of new products and technologies or executing coordination of transfers.
* responsible for coordinating and leading activities between jci (in and out of site) and external project supports.
* review project specifications and requirements to assure conformance of project execution.
* provide continuous feedback to all stakeholders to improve project/product/technology implementation process.
* serve as the liaison between different engineering groups, supply chain, third parties, and various functions in manufacturing facilities to ensure coordination, execution, and measure performance.
* support design functions with manufacturing engineering input to assure design for manufacturing considering other facilities outside the reynosa facility that manufactures similar products.
* manage the completion of all assigned programs, projects, or transfers to budget and to schedule.
* responsible for developing and presenting a detailed implementation plan to support the new project, product, or transfer implementation/execution.
* comply with activities specified in jci safety commitment letter.
* participate in manager meetings to review certifications of systems and establish department metrics.
requirements:
* engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing/industrial or related field with minimum 8 years of related experience.
* 5-10 years of experience in engineering and project management experience related to controls, pcb manufacturing, smt, wave solder, product launches, product transfers, management of multiple departments (internal & external), and leadership skills.
* demonstrated competencies such as decision quality, driving for results, conflict resolution, adaptability, time/project management, achieving results through others, project planning, and organizational skills.
* proficiency in microsoft suite applications (word, excel, access, and powerpoint) and data management systems such as sap/mrp/erp experience are required.
* high proficiency with the english language is also required.
